The Story of Mattiello's Restaurant

Mattiello’s story is rooted in the culinary heritage of Emilia-Romagna, Italy, a region known for its rich food traditions and exceptional cuisine.
Over the years, the head chef refined his skills and developed a unique style, showcasing the traditional flavors of Northern Italian cuisine around the world. Eventually, he settled in New York City and opened his first restaurant, originally named Via Emilia.
After years of success in New York, the head chef and owner decided it was time to bring their traditional Northern Italian cuisine to a new audience.
With this in mind, they opened Mattiello’s in Denver, North Carolina, named after the chef’s family last name, to pay homage to the family’s culinary heritage.

At Mattiello’s, we strive to provide our customers with a true taste of Italy, served up in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a fan of classic Italian dishes or looking to try something new, we have something for everyone.
